Author Visits That Inspire Readers & Future Authors
Author visits range from 30 to 45 minutes and include an interactive presentation, book reading, and bird activity. The goal of each visit is to discuss the book process, share bird knowledge, and reinforce the lesson that what makes each bird different is what makes them so special... just like each of us!
Presentations and content can be customized to align with the values or lessons of your school. I can't wait to spend time sharing my bird love with your students!
Author Visit Details
30 minute visit for K - 2 grades.
30 to 45 minute visit for 3 - 5 grades.
Interactive presentation includes inspiration for the books, drawing process, and education on book publishing.
Pre-order discounted books delivered on day of visit.
We will read a portion of either Little Birdie Buddies of Minnesota or Little Birdie Buddies of Wisconsin.
Learning reinforcement through bird quizzes and either a bird coloring or drawing activity.
Donation of signed copies of each birdie book for your school library.
Visit fees range depending on time spent with each school.
