My bird love started as a kid when my grandpa used to call me "Heather Feather" and I had a pet cockatiel named Birdie. I love birding in my backyard and at nature centers around Minnesota, and my favorite bird to see is a blue heron.  My birds are all drawn with pen and marker, and naming them is the best part!

I've drawn over 70 birds and written three Little Birdie Buddies books. And there are many more birdie books that will be flying out of my heart soon.

This journey has brought me so much joy and I hope it does the same for you. My mission is to spread joy one bird at a time. ❤️
